Report on the End-user requirements

ERADICATING aims to achieve an effective and efficient multi-stakeholder engagement between various public authorities, the private sector, and civil society organisations, as well as to strengthen the cross-border and transnational collaboration among law enforcement agencies. These are among the most crucial goals in the fight against human trafficking and child sexual exploitation.

This report contributed to these goals by presenting eight use case scenarios provided by law enforcement agencies from Bulgaria, Germany, and Greece in the field of human trafficking and sexual exploitation of children. The report includes a description of the main gaps and challenges in identifying victims of human trafficking, the investigation and prosecution process, institutional capacity, inter-agency and cross-border cooperation, and novel phenomena, as well as good practices from the work of relevant actors, concrete training needs identified by respondents, and a suggested structure for training for law enforcement agencies and prosecutors. This report, therefore, lays the groundwork for the identification of end-user needs and the planning and development of the ERADICATING Footprint.
